It is with deep sadness that we inform you all of the passing away of the dear mother of our beloved Shaykh Haitham al-Haddad on Mon 17 Jumada Al Oula 1444 (11-Dec-22). Shaykh Haitham is the Chair of the Fatwa Committee and our leading scholar at the Council. 

We ask you all to make sincere duʿā for his mother and the family.

We ask Allah, by His most beautiful names and lofty attributes, to shower His mercy upon her and to forgive her. May He make Jannatal-Firdaws her abode and unite her there with all her family, Allahumma ameen.
